Manuscript and printed covenants signed by members, records of appointments, rules and procedures for Shaker settlements in Canterbury, N.H., 1792-1919; Enfield, Conn., 1803-1903; Enfield, N.H., 1801-1918; Groveland, N.Y., 1838-1901; Hancock, Mass., 1799-1934; Harvard, Mass., 1831-1931; Mount Lebanon, N.Y., 1814-1924; Shirley, Mass., 1797-1899; South Union, Ky., 1845-1917; Union Village, Ohio, 1812-1829; Watervliet, N.Y., 1830-1912; and Watervliet, Ohio, 1818. Also, manuscript copies of the millenial laws by Father Joseph Meacham and Mother Lucy Wright, 1821, and of the Holy Orders of the Church by Father Joseph [Meacham], 1841, detailing official duties, schooling, use of paint and colors, clothing, care of animals, and other aspects of daily life. Manuscript pamphlets on hygienic rules, n.d., and "counsel to sisters for their safe going and protection," 1855. Miscellaneous items including pastoral epistles, 1803-1864; discharge and release papers, 1799-1927; and a letter from William Reynolds at the North Union Society to Elder Giles Avery about the government of North Union Ohio, 1876.
